What CSV Pilot Is

CSV Pilot is an AI-powered tool for creating and managing product catalog CSVs. It builds Hyperzod-compatible product catalog files — names, descriptions, SKUs, prices, inventory, categories, tags, variants and add-ons — from a simple chat description. You can also upload an existing CSV to edit it, or convert supported Shopify, DeliverLogic, Yelo, Ordering.co and StoreHippo exports into the Hyperzod import format, then review and export the result.

What You Can Do With CSV Pilot

  • Create product catalog CSVs by chatting — describe the products you want ("create 10 pizzas with sizes and toppings") and the AI builds the full Hyperzod-compatible catalog with the correct columns.
  • Convert Shopify CSVs to Hyperzod format — upload a Shopify product export and ask the agent to convert it. Variants and option columns become Hyperzod option groups automatically.
  • Convert DeliverLogic menu exports — upload a DeliverLogic menu file (RID/MIID/Base Price/Option format) and convert it to the Hyperzod structure with option groups and prices preserved.
  • Convert Yelo, Ordering.co and StoreHippo exports — use the supported platform template to regroup product rows, prices and modifier data, with conversion notes for source fields that cannot be preserved safely.
  • Edit your current CSV — upload an existing CSV and change cells directly in the preview, or describe a bulk change like "make all products 15% cheaper" and let the agent apply it.
  • Review and export — every change appears in a preview grid with validation results, so you can fix issues before downloading the final CSV.

Why It Was Created

Preparing product catalogs for import is repetitive and error-prone. A typical store owner juggles spreadsheets with dozens of columns — names, descriptions, SKUs, prices, inventory, categories, tags, variants — and a single misplaced value can break an entire upload. CSV Pilot was created to replace that manual, column-by-column work with a conversational workflow: describe what you need, review the result, and export.

How the AI-Assisted Workflow Works

The core flow is simple. To create a catalog, describe what you need in the chat — products, prices, sizes, add-ons. To convert, upload a supported Shopify, DeliverLogic, Yelo, Ordering.co or StoreHippo CSV and ask the agent to convert it. To edit, upload your current CSV and either click cells in the preview or describe the change in the chat. Every result appears in a preview grid with validation results, and the export downloads a CSV in the Hyperzod-compatible import format.

Behind the scenes, CSV Pilot combines deterministic parsing and validation with AI assistance. The AI interprets your intent — creating products, converting a supported platform export, or applying a bulk edit — while price calculations, option groups and CSV generation use deterministic code. Every change is shown for review before you download anything.

Our Approach to Quality

We focus on practical accuracy over marketing claims. Product data is validated against real import requirements: required fields, unique identifiers, plain number formatting and consistent variant structures. When the AI infers a value, the preview flags it for review instead of silently inserting it. This review-before-export approach is central to how CSV Pilot is built.

Meet the Developer

CSV Pilot is built and maintained in India by independent developer Shailendra Yadav, an engineer focused on e-commerce operations and data tooling. The idea for CSV Pilot came from watching merchants and operations teams spend hours wrestling with spreadsheets for routine catalog tasks that should take minutes. The goal is straightforward: make structured product data work less tedious, more reliable and accessible without engineering help for every change.

Development is guided by direct feedback from store owners and developers who use the tool for real catalogs.
