Cookie Policy

This page explains how CSV Pilot uses cookies and similar browser storage, and how you can control them.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Other browser storage mechanisms — such as localStorage — serve a similar purpose but are stored entirely in your browser and never sent to a server automatically.

2. Cookies We Use

CSV Pilot uses Google Analytics to understand site usage and Google AdSense to serve ads. After you choose “Allow analytics & ads,” Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> and Google AdSense may set advertising cookies to measure non-personalized ads. We do not send uploaded CSV contents, prompts, filenames, names, or email addresses to Google Analytics.

Analytics and advertising storage are denied by default through Google Consent Mode. If you decline, both remain disabled; Google may receive limited cookieless measurement signals.

We use browser localStorage to remember your selected interface language and your consent choice. These preferences stay on your device.

3. Third-Party Services

Google Analytics receives page-view and tool-event metadata under measurement ID G-79SWPNJEPE. When you use AI features, relevant request data is also transmitted to third-party AI providers for processing as explained in the Privacy Policy.

4. Advertising

CSV Pilot shows ads via Google AdSense where approved (Publisher ID ca-pub-8947829712444522). AdSense may use cookies to serve and measure non-personalized ads based on your consent choice. Choosing “Allow analytics & ads” permits analytics and advertising storage, but ad personalization remains denied. Choosing “Decline” keeps those storage signals denied; limited ads may still appear where supported. Personalized advertising will not be enabled unless CSV Pilot later implements an appropriate Google-certified consent platform and updates this policy.

5. Controlling Cookies and Storage

You can control cookies and storage through your browser settings:

• Accept or decline analytics and advertising storage via “Allow analytics & ads” / “Decline” in our consent notice.
• Clear all site data for csvpilot.in from your browser's site settings.
• Block or disable cookies globally in your browser settings.
• Use private or incognito browsing, which discards site data when the window closes.

Declining analytics or disabling localStorage will not stop the core CSV tool from working. Clearing localStorage resets the interface language and shows the consent notice again on your next visit.

6. Changes to This Policy

We will update this policy when our cookie and storage practices change. The date above reflects the latest revision.
