Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This page explains how CSV Pilot uses cookies and similar browser storage, and how you can control them.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Other browser storage mechanisms — such as localStorage — serve a similar purpose but are stored entirely in your browser and never sent to a server automatically.

2. Cookies We Use

CSV Pilot does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies. We use browser localStorage to remember your selected interface language. This preference stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers or to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

When you use AI features, data is transmitted to third-party AI providers for processing (see the Privacy Policy). Those providers may set their own cookies or storage on your device in accordance with their own policies.

4. Advertising

We do not currently show advertising or use advertising cookies. If we introduce advertising in the future, we will update this policy and provide appropriate controls.

5. Controlling Cookies and Storage

You can control cookies and storage through your browser settings:

  • Clear all site data for csvpilot.in from your browser's site settings.
  • Block or disable cookies globally in your browser settings.
  • Use private or incognito browsing, which discards site data when the window closes.

Disabling localStorage will not stop the core CSV tool from working, but the language preference will reset to the default (English) on each visit.

6. Changes to This Policy

We will update this policy when our cookie and storage practices change. The date above reflects the latest revision.
